This summer, you could win one of 14 cash prizes to help make this back-to-school season a memorable start to a successful year! A total of up to $5,000 is being given away!!!

Grand prize: One (1) cash prize of one thousand dollars ($1,000). One (1) winner.

Secondary prizes: Three (3) cash prizes of five hundred dollars each ($500). Three (3) winners.

Third-tier prizes: Ten (10) ‘Win Back Your School Shopping’ prizes, each entitling the winner to a cash prize equivalent to their personal purchases* made at Hamster between 1 July and 31 August 2026, up to a maximum value of two hundred and fifty dollars ($250) per prize. Ten (10) winners.

The odds of winning depend directly on the number of valid entries in the competition. The competition is open to all Canadian residents. Entrants must be aged 18 or over. No purchase is required for the grand prize or secondary prizes. A purchase is required for the tertiary prizes. Proof of purchase will be required before your prize is awarded. One (1) entry per person. Hamster reserves the right to cancel an entry if there is any suspicion that the entry is invalid or contravenes our rules.
*Purchases made via corporate accounts will not be considered valid. Only purchases made via personal accounts on Hamster.ca or at our retailers will be considered valid for the purposes of this competition.
